Marine Harvest

Global flexibility

Marine Harvest is the world's leading producer of Atlantic salmon. The new Group headquarters in the historic boathouses Sandviksboder in Bergen thus fits like a glove. With tradition in the back, Marine Harvest has created a modern and flexible workplace with a global perspective.

In the new office, which is both corporate offices and headquarters for the Norwegian division, Marine Harvest AS, operates 60 people. The entire Group has a total of 6200 employees and 50 markets.

"The premises are a mix of large offices and cellular offices. The sales department would, for example, working in an open office because employees have a lot of contact and dialogue with each other. Sound ergonomics we have resolved with the help of screens and workplaces screened off in a big way with the help of high lockers, Big Side storage, from Martela.", says Anne Langeland Fool is administrative director of Marine Harvest.

The requests of Marine Harvest were clear, says Anne Langeland Fool.

"We wanted modern and bright premises with the best sound, light and workplace ergonomics. Therefore, we have chosen to purchase new electric height adjustable desk, Martela Pinta, to all employees. Being able to stand up and work and get variation during the day is important, "says Anne, who also says that the company had Pinta even on his former office. It simply going to add tables from the same series was one of the reasons why they chose to continue working with Martela.
