EcoVadis Gold rating for Martela for the third time
The world's most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, EcoVadis, has recently awarded Martela a Gold Medal. The Gold Medal places Martela in the top 5% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis.
The Gold Medal was the third in a row for Martela and encourages us to continue our long-term efforts to improve our sustainability performance.
Martela's business model is based on a life cycle approach to the work environment, with sustainability taken into account at every stage. The circular economy also plays an important role. "I am proud that our sustainability work has once again been judged worthy of the EcoVadis Gold Gold rating," says Anne-Maria Peitsalo, Martela's Sustainability and Quality Manager.
EcoVadis' sustainability ratings are based on international sustainability commitments, agreements and standards such as the UN Global Compact, ILO, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and ISO 26000. The ratings provide an evidence-based analysis of a company's performance and a practical roadmap for continuous improvement.
