Sustainable eye-catcher Hubbe.
Designed by KO-HO Design Studio, the Hubbe easy chair represents timeless Finnish design and combines acoustics, versatility, and privacy.

Hubbe is suitable for various lobbies, break rooms, and waiting areas. Thanks to the cup-shaped seat, the chair provides an acoustic and sound-insulating, sheltered seat where you can relax or work in peace. A laptop table enables a better working position.

One of the main features of the Hubbe chair, which is sustainably made from compressed felt, is the privacy it offers, the level of which the user can easily adjust by choosing the desired seating direction at any given time thanks to the rotating base.

Sustainable material choices

In the design of the Hubbe chair, sustainability has played a major role. The thermoformed felt always contains at least 60% recycled PET plastic. The felt is made from fibers by carding and needling, without adding any binders. The felt also has an M1 emission classification, making it safe to use.

Thanks to its unique appearance, Hubbe is an eye-catcher in any space.

“When designing the chair, we wanted to create a seat that offers space and shelter for its user.

During the design process, we noticed that a symmetrical space was limiting and visually rigid for the sitter, and as a result, the chair began to take on an asymmetrical shape.

The asymmetrical shape also creates a sculptural appearance and is visually interesting. The play of light and shadow is well visible in Hubbe.”
