The Sustainability Report 2024 has been published

Martela committed to the UN Global Compact back in 2011, and with that, we are also committed to the Agenda 2030 goals for sustainable development set in 2016.  
Martela, like many other manufacturing companies, has the biggest climate impact related to the material use of our products. This theme is therefore also the source of our most important measures to promote the circular economy and reduce climate change. We promote the circular economy by designing and manufacturing sustainable and environmentally friendly furniture and by focusing on the continuous development of our services to extend the life cycle of our products.  
The carbon footprint savings achieved by Martela's customers through lifecycle services are estimated to be significantly higher than the carbon footprint of Martela's own operations. Through the carbon handprint of lifecycle services, Martela aims to achieve carbon neutrality in its overall operations.
