Cybercom has its employees in mind
With the help of Martela Dynamic Solutions, Tengbom was able to design an activity-based office characterised by functionality, creativity and harmony.
Cybercom is one of the leading companies in the ICT sector, focusing particularly on connectivity. They help companies and organisations through their services to take advantage of the possibilities offered by the online world. In 2014 they moved into new, centrally located premises in Stockholm – and into a fully activity-based office.
“We have really gone ‘all in’”, says Cybercom’s Head of HR, Cecilia Westerholm Beer.
Cybercom wanted to focus on the company’s employees when moving to its new main office on Sveavägen in Stockholm.
“We had many good reasons to choose the activity-based approach. First and foremost it is about our culture. Cybercom has a marked sustainability profile and a strong focus on employees. We want to stand out with our emphasis on the individual and surround ourselves with dedicated employees. Therefore it is very important that they enjoy their work and choose to stay with us. We saw that by offering them a new, creative work environment we gave them the possibility of even greater involvement and participation.”
The solution made the central location on Sveavägen possible without having to go up in rent or without compromising the quality of the workplace. “Our most important requirements for the new office was flexibility. Cybercom Group is an innovative company, working in an industry that is constantly changing. We must constantly revise our attitude and approach”, Westerholm Beer explains.
We want to stand out with our emphasis on the individual and surround ourselves with dedicated employees.
Because Cybercom wanted to fully utilise the activity-based solution, they chose Martela Dynamic to complement the other changes. Its fully customised solutions for storage and workstations allow employees to work without care. With the help of an access card, it’s possible to select the storage and the desktop – electrically operated lifting and lowering, of course – which best fit the situation. The overall goal is that the employees should always feel right at home, no matter where in the office they work.
